One in three American women dies of heart disease.

Do you or a Loved one Suffer from Coronary Heart Disease?

Many things increase your risk for CHD. You're more likely to develop the condition if someone in your family has had it, especially before age 50. Your risk for CHD also goes up the older you get. If you have any of the risk factors for CHD, set up an appointment with your doctor to discuss prevention and possible treatment. If you have angina, shortness of breath, or symptoms of a heart attack you should immediately contact your health care provider, call the local emergency number (such as 911) or go to the emergency room.
